What are the lessons that you learned after reading the commencement address of Steve Jobs?

As I read the commencement address of Steve Jobs as a guess speaker on a college graduation, I learned and was then inspired by his address or message because I thought before that he just messed up his life but then I realized that all of his life is worth living for, a kind of life which every one is looking up and wishes to have, a principle of life that everyone could be followed. It is true that we can’t connect the dots looking forward instead looking backward. We just let things happen on what they are pertaining to our life because somehow we can truly say that it was all connected looking backward through our mistakes, achievements, failures and big decisions we made in the past. I love the statement he said “So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in to your failure. You have to trust in something, - your gut, destiny, life, and karma, whatever.” All nothing else to trust with it, it is only God and yourself because we can’t avoid that sometimes people would lie to us so in the end, it is still yourself whom you can trust with so be true to yourself, know what you want to do and what you don’t like. I really admired his attitude which is loving the things what you would loved to do because like what had happened to Steve Jobs that everything would turn out fall or may discourage, because of his passion and love to what he is doing which is building computers, he never loses hope and continue what he want to do. Failure may come to our life but failure would not be called failure unless we stop trying. He just grab other opportunities not knowing that was a tool or step for him to get back the Apple which is the company he build and also the one who kick him out. So we should find what we love and if we don’t find it yet, we should keep looking and never settle. I also like one of his philosophies in life which concerns to death that if today were the last day of his life, would he want to do what he is about to do today? I could also asked that question to myself that every moment of my life, I should give the best thing I can do because life is unpredictable we will never know where we might stop living cause death is an unexpected guess we can’t predict when it will come. So everyday we must prepare our self and give the best out of ourselves because only God knows when He will get us and never exist anymore on earth. So as long as we are living, stay hungry and stay foolish because there are a lot of things life could give us. Never be contented until you reach what you are aiming and what you would like to do.
