Knowing thy self is the best tool in order to attain success in life. You cannot achieve something or attain it by not knowing your self because by knowing your self, you know what to do, what you want to do, what you really want to do, knowing who really you are and what are your strengths and weaknesses.
Knowing first your strengths and weaknesses may help you to move forward and attain what you aim because knowing your strength let you determine where you can hold on to in order to move forward by not just having the same place or just be contented on what you are as of now, having chance for your self for improvement because I believe there is always a room for improvement and God have not made each one of us to remain what we are now because we are made to grow up and be nurtured in order to improve our self for our betterment, and be great as what God have designed each one of us. Knowing your weaknesses let you know where and when you should adjust and control your self. In our own weaknesses we may able to determine where to stop and go or remain and move in ways of facing situations that needs an attitude in order to handles things in a right manner because it may not help you solve what problem you are facing everyday and in weakness gives you a clue on what to do by the next time a problem would come back again. These things cannot be determined if we do not experienced failures and achievements because through these we may able to learn and have a lesson from it so that by the next time it would happen again we know what to do and the possible solutions to that cause I believe in every problem there is always a solution.
Knowing the things you really like to do or your passion that makes your existence or your purpose on earth. Every one of us is assigned on different things or has given different assignments. That task have been planted or originally within us. It is just we need to find that passion or discover what are the things that made our existence a meaningful one that we are not just merely existing on earth and be one of the ordinary people who does not know what to do or what are their plans in life and the main purpose of their life. As what the wikepedia says “Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something. The term is also often applied to a lively or eager interest in or admiration for a proposal, cause, or activity or love. Passion can be expressed as a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion towards a subject, idea, person, or object.” If we knew ourselves and know what we want to do we became passionate to that thing or idea that we really eagerly to attain. We put emotion and desire to achieve that dream and we became enthusiastic that we gave the best that we have like the talents or inner gifts that we have that could help as a tool to achieve that dream. It is one of the most problems that makes as a hindrance to our own improvement or desire in life by not fully knowing our self because most cases we are bound with different expectations mostly of our parents by the time we go to universities or colleges. Our parents sometimes misinterpret or misunderstood the things we really like to do because they want that their plans in us must be fulfilled someday and not knowing that it’s not our passion to do so and we are just being forced by them that makes a hindrance to improve and be a successful one someday. We need to stand our passion in all things because someday we are still the one to suffer and we just do things that are not meant for us and we did it for the purpose of we are being told so. We need to be true to our self that we must follow our own desire or passion because true happiness cannot be attained if we are blocked by the things we don’t want to do and we are forced to do so. I am sad with those persons who are tied up and not been freed to do their will that is why they are not guided on the right path that makes their life miserable.
After having the personality traits test, I have realized that somehow I could be a good entrepreneur someday not only good but to became one of the best entrepreneur because as what my result on the test I have got somewhat entrepreneurial rating so this means that I really have that something within me that can make me a good entrepreneur and slowly be the best one. Maybe that is why my rating is somewhat entrepreneurial because somehow I could relate on the sentences or phrases that would test if I do have that entrepreneurial traits. Mostly of it relates my personality that even I did not discover it yet. By the help of that test by now I know already that I have the skill to become one of the best entrepreneurs someday. I am aiming to have a better future not only for me but for others also. Actually I do have a plan that someday I will have a business that would satisfy and help me reach my dreams and live up a happy and satisfying life. That plan that I have is to have a business that would reach my dream but by reaching that dream I was also thinking those people who don’t have work or regular living that would support their daily needs in order to have a better or maybe just to satisfy the call of their stomachs as what do the regular workers do think just to surpass everyday and be alive somehow. I want that those people to be inspired that it is not just enough that they work in order to eat and to become a worker for their entire life. Every one has given the privilege to move forward and not remain to what status we they have at present. It is just on the mindset of the people that they only think that they would always remain on what status they have because some reasoned out that since it is in the thread of their family that they remain what they are maybe some remain a slave or any simple jobs that have with a low salary just enough to fulfill their needs and on to their next generations they will always remains to that situation. They did not think bigger that would help them be lift up to their present situation by aiming bigger or dreaming something more. It is not an excuse that most of them did not finish studying and maybe some are only on the elementary level because somehow I have knew people who have the situation with them but because they aim higher they became a successful one in the future. There a lot of ways to attain our dreams that even you don’t have those bachelors’ degree or masteral’s degree, maybe you are just a simple person who are aiming high and have the passion to reach that goal makes their dreams come true and become one of the best entrepreneurs at present time. It is only the way on how to reach your goals in life that makes us a successful one. You just need to have the passion to do your work and the eagerness to make it come true. Actually having those degree or finish studying is just only an added tool to reach our goal or dreams faster because through studying we may able to learn some strategies or learning’s that would help attain our dream as early as we can. Someday if I already have the business, I want that my workers would not just feel that they are my workers and remain a worker. I want to give them the chance to move forward and aim higher in order to experience what I will also experience someday by living an easy and happy life. I want them to become a successful one or maybe one of the best entrepreneurs as what I aiming to by giving scholarship to the children of my workers because by that way I could help them also reach their goal with no hesitation and all they need to do is just study well and be an excellent student cause somehow I would not be the beneficiary of their hard word but its them and their family that somehow they will help their parents and let them experience an easy life that they don not need to work already. It is so fulfilling and happy to see that you help people reach their dreams and see the fruits of their labor and make them smile because seeing them smile it is a big joy and fulfillment in my heart and nothing can compare to that achievement.
As I was asking my two friends to write something about me, I was flattered and made me realize that I really have the skill or trait of being an entrepreneur and their messages are:
“I am glad that I was given a chance to write this kind of letter or message to my dearest friend Dominic in helping him to reach the 4000 words (lol). First of all, I considered him as one of my closest guy in this university and he is also close to my heart. I never thought that we can be close friends and now we used to call each other ‘Friend’. When we were on first year, we were very happy when we were together because we have a lot of similarities in terms of likes and dislikes to a certain person and we also have the same humor. I shared my secrets on him and he also shared his secrets to me.
I thought that he was very serious or strict person and a kind of snob. As days goes by, I find him a very jolly, happy and kind of talkative. He always shows his killer smile and talks about everything that he has been observed in a person, event or situation. I am not saying that he is an eavesdropper or a back fighter, what I mean is he just easily noticed
new or unusual things around him and I can say that he is a good observer. Aside from being a good observer, he is also skillful guy. He knows how to dance (I don’t know if he also knows how to sing because I never heard him singing on KTV.LOL). He is such a good artist and he really loves to make art handicrafts. Dominic is also a good leader. He already proved that to us when we were on first year, he was once an ACM (Assistant Circle Manager) on CWTS (Civic Welfare Training Service) and he handled the circle 4-3. He showed his leadership skills and he knows how to discipline his members. He is responsible and passionate in doing all of his tasks and responsibilities. Oh, I nearly forgot, my friend is also an officer in the evening local council. When it comes to fashion, he is good into it. He knows how to choose nice colors in buying shirts and shoes and had also a nice hairstyle. As you observed, Dominic possesses a lot of positive traits. Aside from being a good looking guy, he is outgoing, talented, disciplined, passionate, and responsible and an effective leader. But the most of his traits that I liked most are being faithful and God-fearing. He praises God with all of his mind, heart and soul. He became an active church member and now he still continues to preach and to spread the Word of God to others. He is a good influence to us. He appreciates all things that God has been created.
I think writing a thousand words is not enough to tell everything about Dominic. He had a kind of personality that is very unique and yet we have the same dreams in life. A simple guy with a kind heart. When it comes to the subject technopreneurship, he possesses some of the personality traits of being an effective technopreneur. There is no doubt if he reaches the entrepreneur level in our personal traits test.”

Dominic P. Wamelda, an every inch of a person, why? Well let us just make it this way:
• INDEPENDENT- He is such an independent person. He learns things in so many different ways and by his own will. I can say that he is a person that makes it as much as possible to be free from the control or influence of others. Another thing about Dominic is that he never let himself to depend on the work of others, when he think he can do it, he will really do it. But if things goes different path the way he knew it, Dominic really knows how to say “sorry” and ask for help. That is what Dominic is.
• VERSATILE- He’s ability to adopt and relate on all aspects of life is one thing that made me admire him most. He knows how to deal with teenage life. He never been out-of-place in the fashion trend and in the gadgets. Domz is a person that can easily captures the new event in the world, not only in the society, industry but also in the current events. Somehow, Dominic fined ways to have night life despite of his busy schedules. He keep tracks of his young life at the same time maintaining his studies. Wonderfully, Dominic P. Wamelda is such a religious person. He always makes ways for us, his classmates to have time for God and sometime he is the one indulging us to have a bible study.
• GOOD FRIEND- Every person really has good virtues in their life, and Dominic has that. He is really a good friend to everyone and he even make us feel his friend that we are a wonderful creation of God. One thing is good about Dominic is that he never shows a sign of refusal when you try to reach for him to be his friend. His door is always open for everyone who needs his help and friendship. Dominic is also a wonderful and sweet friend, he never forgets to give surprises when his friend is having birthday that I why his friends try it so much to make him happy in his special day.
• RESPONSIBLE- You can always count on to Dominic whenever you give him task. He never fails to do his best in doing projects, assignments and works. Sometimes, I laugh at his face (sorry domz!!) because he got lots of pimples doing all those tasks with such a sleepless night. But then, even though those pimples are growing on to his cute face, Dominic still looks handsome. Dominic is also an active student in USeP, he becomes one of the officers in Evening Local Council. Gladly, despite of stress days, Domz manage to study and get enough or sometimes high scores to pass all his subjects.
• TALKATIVE- Honestly! At first time I knew Dominic, I really doubted in the genuinity of his gender. Why? For Dominic is really talkative. But now, I know that he just have that kind of attitude and is truly a “man”. One thing is for sure about Dominic is that he is a good listener even though he talks too much.”

By reaching these goals and plans in my life, I need to possess these kinds of skills/attitude being an entrepreneur and should positively have:
• Creativity- which means expanding your ideas and go beyond the box or limitation because there something out there more excellent than the common one. Creativity is a talent that thinks about ideas which is not common on the majority that people thinks. It is in him that differs from other common people the way he or she thinks and could bring out bright ideas that can contribute for the development of the company. In the business field, you should possess creativity because you are producing a product or idea which is unique and different from other products from other companies because you need to get the attention and sympathy of the costumers to buy your product. How can you gain more profit as you wished to earn if your product doesn’t have any differences from the common products in the market in which field of business you belong. You should have that unique factor on your product to make the consumers patronize it.
• Innovative- it is the skill of creating new ideas and inventions or discoveries. An entrepreneur should possess this kind of skill because in business it is not enough to gain profit by having just one simple product because somehow it will face out from the market and the consumers will no more patronize it. The nature of a person is that it has no satisfaction and wants to experience new things so if you want to stay longer in the business field you should be innovative in creating new products that would go with the trend of our generation today. You need to think more ideas that can satisfy the needs and wants of the consumers. Everyday there are a lot of ideas that can be discovered because of the broad mind that people have that are always searching for new discoveries and inventions specially on the field of technopreneurship that applies technology as the business, I think everyday they tend to search more discoveries because we are in the high technology age that there is a continuous development of different high-tech products and would not possibly stay longer in the market.
• Stability- it means that you are stable in all aspects (physical, mental, social or emotional) because you are facing different trials which is tough and you should be able to handle it on a positive manner. Sometimes physical stability doesn’t really requires because there are a lot of ways to use your abilities in order to achieve your dreams even though you have a physical deformities or lacking because as what I have said on the above texts that we are designed to move forward despite of any lacking parts in our body cause it is all in the state of mind. Your all aspects should be normal as much as possible specially on the mental and emotional stability because you are handling bigger problems and when you have weak emotion and mentality, you cant surpass all of that difficult situation and the worst scenario is that you may loose your mind and become crazy cause you were not able to handle the problem in a right manner and have a solution to that.
• Optimism- is seeing things in a positive way thinking that there are always solutions to any problem that may hinder progress. Being optimistic is a good attitude of an entrepreneur that should be possessed because in a business there is always problems being encountered that must have a solution right a way so that it would not hinders to the development of the business. If there are a lot of problems being stocked and don’t have a solution because the manager or any head officer doesn’t possess optimism that whenever he knows he can’t do nothing with right a way he will just junked it and leave on the side not being solved. It would really hinder the progress of the business because how can the business move forward if there are unsolved problems being left. It should be the manager or any head officer should think possible ways right a way even though himself could not solved it but maybe he/she can ask for help from other co-workers because not at all times the leader can solved all problems, sometimes he needs the help of others and made a solution to the problem.
• Risk-taker – the ability to have the guts in venturing a business. Being a risk-taker doesn’t mean that you always take the risk without knowing the consequences if you enter with a certain activity like in business because in business there is no assurance that you will get what you want right a way or you may be successful as you what expected to. It depends on how you handle your business up to the future wherein you almost get what you want but don’t be too relax that you have almost there you will never fail cause failure is always facing us it is just the matter of avoiding it through doing what is right and the best for the business for the continuous improvement of it You need to plan thing s first before doing the first move that is to take the risk in venturing a business.
• Hard work- is one of the best skills that the entrepreneur should have because if ihe/she does possess hard work, there is no doubt that the business would really progress. It is the common tool for success because if there is no hard work no success. If the entrepreneur does possess hard-word every worker should follow him because he is served as a role model that every worker hesitates if he/she does nothing for the development of the business.
• Confidence – an entrepreneur should be confident in all ways because in his confidence we can see the victory or success of the business. He/she must be confident in facing situations and all of his/her workers because if people around sees him weak, they might underestimate your capacity and it is one of the hindrance for you to move forward. If your workers see you are lack of confidence maybe they might be also have loose the will to do their work for the best they can cause they think it is all ok with you to have just simple works or just do what is being told to do so. You can’t face major problems in a right manner and make a solution to that because you are afraid of failing and for the criticism of others.
• Listener- maybe it is nice to have a good harmony between the owner and the workers that as much as possible any misunderstanding or quarrels must be solved right a way because again it may hinders for the development of the business. As an entrepreneur you should know how to listen from any suggestions or comments from others because through listening from others, you might get some facts that could bring out bright ideas because it is not always that ideas comes from you but sometimes it comes from others.
By knowing all of my traits can give me a hint on what are the things I need to develop my skills in order to become a good entrepreneur. I need a lot more experience to become the best entrepreneur because slowly by slowly I will be able to apply it on myself not only by this time but also on the future. I would become an effective entrepreneur that knows how to listen to his co-workers for the development of the future business that I may have someday.
All these really helps me know myself more even better and I think I possess all of these things that makes me somewhat entrepreneurial and I believe that somehow someday I could be a very entrepreneurial and be a successful one.
